how to take good face pictures

haha, I'll try and explain this ..

I think faces look best when the 'subject' is laying down, head on the floor. this way their skin is laid back, making it 'tighter'.

ok, soooo. i gave myself a photo shoot and here's what I did: brought 2 pieces of furniture together so that I could lay a chair on top of them. then I put the camera through the spokes of the chair, so the camera could point down to the floor where I laid underneath it.
